I am currently conducting the practice-based artistic postdoc project SCENES OF FIELDWORK (2025-2027)

The project is affiliated with Center for Applied Ecological Thinking (CAPE) and hosted by the Department of Art and Cultural Studies, University of Copenhagen. It is funded by Novo Nordisk Foundation.

I have previously been a postdoc at the research center Art as Forum (Institute for Art and Cultural Studies, University of Copenhagen, 2022-2024). 

I obtained my Ph.D. from HDK-Valand (the art academy at Gothenburg University, SE, 2016-2022), where I looked into relational forms of the image and image practices through an explicit focus on the guide figure and experiences from the Svalbard archipelago – which resulted in the PhD thesis Geo-Aesthetical Discontent: Svalbard, the Guide and Post-future Essayism (2022). 

I graduated from the Jutland Art Academy (2005-2010), but also have an MA in visual and media anthropology from the Freie Universität Berlin (2010-2012). Parallel to my art practice as research I have exhibited, shown and performed internationally.
